FREE ADMISSION TO BASKETBALL GAME WITH TOY DONATION

On, Friday, December 22nd, admission will be free to the boys basketball game for all who donate a new toy.  These toys will then be donated throughout Livingston County to less fortunate children.  Pontiac plays Dwight with JV starting at 6:00pm followed by Varsity at 7:30pm.

2018 ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ANNOUNCED

The following Pontiac H.S. athletes, athletic program contributor and team will be inducted into the Pontiac H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Feb. 3rd, 2018 between the Soph. and Varsity basketball games against ElPaso-Gridley at approx. 7:00 p.m.. From the Class of 2011- Lindsay Friedman- 2 Yr. Letterwinner in Volleyball, All-Conference Performer in Basketball in 2011, and a member of the Class 3A Illinois High School Softball Coaches Assoc. All-State Team in 2010 and 2011.. INTERESTED IN TRAVELING TO PARIS, THE FRENCH RIVIERA, AND ROME?

Join us for our international travel program led by Mr. Fiorini. We will be traveling on an educational tour to Paris, the French Riviera, and Rome in July of 2019. A mandatory parent informational meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 6:00pm in Room 139 for those who are interested in learning more about this unbelievable opportunity. BRETT SPIRES AND CAM DAWSON SIGN THEIR NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

Congratulations to Brett Spires and Cam Dawson for signing their National Letter of Intent. Brett Spires will be attending Michigan State University and competing on the men’s swimming and diving team and Cam Dawson will be attending Illinois State University and competing on the men’s track and field team. We are very proud of these student athletes and wish them well as they continue their education and compete at the next level.

LIVINGSTON AREA CAREER CENTER OPEN HOUSE

The Livingston Area Career Center will be hosting their annual OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, November 9th from 4:00pm – 6:30pm.  Come check out the classes that are offered and take part in these free events:  live welding and plasma demonstrations, kitchen knife demonstrations, electronic career interest inventory, CNC and 3-D printing demonstrations, bring your laptop or PC for a check-up, blood pressure check, popcorn and prizes will be available, as well as child care. PTHS SCHOOL COMMUNITY SPONSORING PONTIAC MONTH OF GIVING

Through the month of November, the PTHS school community will be sponsoring the Pontiac Month of Giving.  A collection will be going on for the following items:  Nov. 6 – Nov. 10:  Canned Goods/Boxed Food, Nov. 13 – Nov. 17:  Hygiene Items, Nov. 20 – Nov. 21:  Monetary Donations, Nov. 27 – Dec. 1:  Clothing Items, Dec. 4 – Dec. 8:  School Supplies.  Please contact the PTHS Guidance Department if you have questions.
