FLU SHOT AVAILABLE AT PTHS

The PTHS Student Health Center are offering flu shots.  We are able to bill private insurances, as well as Medicaid.  Please let us know if you are interested in having your student receive the influenza vaccine.   The fee is $40 if you do not have insurance coverage.  Call or email if you have any questions.

INFORMATION ABOUT SENIOR NIGHT ON OCTOBER 13TH

Tomorrow night we will celebrate our senior football, cheerleader, and band members and their parents on senior night.  Senior football players and cheerleaders will be announced at 6:30pm and the senior band members will be announced at half-time.  We look forward to honoring these seniors and their parents.

CHORAL PROGRAM PROUDLY PRESENTS ITS FALL CHORAL CONCERT

The Pontiac Township High School Choral Program proudly presents its Fall Choral Concert on Sunday, October 15th at 3:00pm in the Pontiac Township High School Auditorium! Enjoy selections from the Concert Choir, our two women’s ensembles Bel Canto and Cantabile, and Men’s Choir. You will also hear from our Madrigal Singers! The choirs will present music in Latin, multiple South African languages, AND English! You will hear music from the Renaissance and Classical periods as well traditional Spirituals, Early American Folk Songs, Celtic Music, English Madrigals and a few surprises along the way! VISION AND HEARING SCREENINGS

Vision and hearing screenings are provided annually to District 90 students at the State-mandated grade levels, as designated by the Illinois Department of Public Health. The following students are screened: all students in special education programs, students transferring into the District, and students requested by the classroom teacher.  For the 2017-2018 school year, the screenings will take place on Wednesday, October 4th and Thursday, October 5th.  If you have any concerns or wish for your child not to be screened, please submit written documentation to PTHS, Attention: Susan Verdun.

2017 VOLLEY FOR THE CURE OCTOBER 3RD

2017 PTHS Volley for the Cure will be Tuesday, October 3rd. Pontiac Indians will be playing the Prairie Central Hawks.  Order your shirts NOW! Click the title for an order form and to see this years design! Get orders in by September 25th to get your clothing before the game! (Shirts/sweatshirts will be made during the game but size availability can not be guaranteed.) On October 3rd the Freshman game will begin at 5:00 with JV and Varsity games to follow! We are excited for this years event! There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, pink dilly bars, shirt sales, and much more! All proceeds donated to Susan G Komen foundation.  We hope to see you there!
