On Monday, April  3rd Pontiac Township High School hosted the 2nd annual  Livingston County High School Art Competition.  Participating schools were Pontiac Township High School, Flanagan-Cornell, Dwight Township High School, Woodland, Tri-Point, and Prairie Central.   Artwork was judged in 9 categories: Painting, Black & White Drawing, Color Drawing, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Photography, Mixed Media, and Pen & Inks.   Judging this year’s artwork were JoanE & Ed Lipinski, Ben Diaz, and Patti Drengwitz.  In addition to the judging of the artwork, one participant from each school competed in a modeling clay design competition.   After that, students listened to Sarah Kasch, she gave a presentation over the American Academy of Art in Chicago.  She discussed the school, artists, and opportunities for students in the county who choose to attend school there.
